OBITUARY

MRS. MARGRETHA JORDAHL

Mrs. Steinar (Margretha) Jordahl, 83, Marcus, died Thursday at Floyd Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 3, 1884, in Denmark and came to the United States at the age of 18. Her first husband, Julian Johnson, died in November 1920. Mr. Jordahl died in February 1964.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, at the Lutheran church, Marcus, with Rev. Calvin Rossman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Nelson funeral home, Marcus.

Survivors are two sons, Emil Johnson, LeMars, and Orlo Johnson, Castana; a daughter, Lucille Jordahl, Marcus; five step-sons, Bernard Jordahl, Akron; Kenmar Jordahl, Marcus; Randolph Jordahl, North Hollywood; Julian Jordahl, Bloomfield, Colo.; and Norman Jordahl, Kirkland AFB, Albuquerque, NM; one step-daughter, Gudren Johnson, LeMars; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters in Denmark.
