HERMINA KLUVER
Hermina (Tillie) Kluver, 86, LeMars, a Plymouth County native and lifelong resident, died Monday (Jan. 30, 1989) at Plymouth Manor Care Center after an extended illness.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars with Rev. David Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
The former Tillie Schmidt, she was born Aug. 16, 1902, at Akron to Folkert and Mamie Peters Schmidt. She married Hans Kluver Jan. 3, 1922, in LeMars. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She was a homemaker and Sheehan Produce employee for 25 years. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two sons, Clarence Kluver of Ireton and Lowell Kluver of Lake Park; a daughter, Mrs. Leona Bergmark of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Maidie Witt of LeMars and Millie Rehborg of Fort Collins, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mildred Boetger; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
