HANS J. KLUVER
Hans J. Kluver, 82, of Akron, was dead on arrival at a hospital in Akron Friday (Dec. 25, 1981) after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron. Rev. Myron Herzberg of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Remsen will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in LeMars under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.
Mr. Kluver was born Jan. 17, 1899, in Germany and came to the United States in 1906.
He married Tillie Schmidt Jan. 3, 1922, at LeMars. They farmed in the Akron area until 1944, when they moved to LeMars. They lived in LeMars until 1978 when they returned to Akron.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Cliff (Mildred) Boetger of LeMars and Mrs. Leona Bergmark of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sons, Clarence of Ireton and Lowell of Merrill; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Christ of Starbuck, Minn., and John of Welcome, Minn.; and one sister, Freida Onken of LeMars.
