MRS. HOWARD KNUDSEN
Mrs. Howard (Violet) Knudsen, 62, Merrill, lifelong Plymouth County resident, died Wednesday (Nov. 9, 1977) at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Sioux City, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Merrill United Methodist Church with Rev. J. Milton Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
Violet Page was born May 14, 1915, at Kingsley to Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Page. Her marriage to Howard Knudsen took place Aug. 27, 1934, at Sioux City.
She is survived by her husband, Howard, Merrill; a daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Judy) Schulz, rural LeMars; a granddaughter, Sheila Schulz, LeMars; two brothers, Ernest and Howard Page, both of Kingsley.
She is also survived by three step-sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Brazier, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Hugo (Ruth) Huss of Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Oscar (Ivy) Swanberg, Kingsley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
