ANNA C. KLUVER

LE MARS, Iowa --- Anna Caroline Kluver, 89, of LeMars, die Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in LeMars.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, ELCA in LeMars, with the Rev. Bert Burwell A.i.M. officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Kluver was born Feb. 28, 1910, in Grant Township, the daughter of Onno and Augusta (Martfeld) Onken. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She married Charlie Kluver on Dec. 6, 1934, in Grant Township. The couple farmed until 1945, when they moved to Merrill, Iowa. They owned and operated Lockers in Merrill from 1946 to 1962. He died July 2, 1962. She sold the locker business and moved to LeMars in 1963. She entered Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in January 2000.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was a circle member. She enjoyed church activities and playing cards.

Survivors include a son and his wife, LouDell and Glenda of Park Rapids, Minn.; two grandchildren, Beth and Vance Kluver; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Fred, and Onno Jr.; and two sisters, Kathryn and Henrietta.

Pallbearers will be Walter and Eddie Martfeld, Vance and Jim Kluver, Marvin Orban, Elmer Karley and Herman Bremer.
