JODI AND JANA KERR

Jodi, 15, and Jana Kerr, 13, of Marshalltown, formerly of LeMars, died Thursday (July 21, 1983) as the result of an auto accident at a country intersection near Marshalltown.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in Hope United Methodist Church at Marshalltown. Graveside services were at 5 p.m. Monday in Resthaven Memory Gardens at LeMars. Rev. Donald Johnson of Hope United Methodist Church officiated.

The girls were the daughters of Gordon L. Elzenga, a former LeMars resident who died several years ago. The girls were adopted by James Kerr in 1974 after their mother’s marriage.

Survivors are their mother, Judy (Harms) Kerr; gandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Harms of George; their paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Elzenga, of Rock Rapids; and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Ackerman of George.
