VERNON KLAVE

Vernon H. (Benney) Klave, 66, Plymouth County native and longtime LeMars resident, died early Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1986, at Sioux City Marian Health Center, after a brief illness.

Arrangements are pending at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

He was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Plymouth County to Fritz and Rose Schmidt Klave. He was retired.

His marriage to Judy Bruscher took place April 3, 1970, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in LeMars.

Survivors are his wife, Judy, LeMars; two brothers, Lawrence of Denver and Don of Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Otto (Irene) Blackmore, LeMars; Iona Blackmore, Colorado Springs; Mrs. Henry (Anita) Berkenpas of LeMars, and Mrs. George (Joan) Trometer of Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
