MRS. MARTIN LARSON
Mrs. Martin Larson, 56, route 3, Remsen, died Friday at Sioux City St. Joseph hospital after an illness of three months. She had been hospitalized two weeks.
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
The former Lucille Katherine Frahm, she was born April 2, 1914, in LeMars, a daughter of the late Henry and Meta Doering Frahm.
She married Martin Larson May 29, 1945, in LeMars. She lived in LeMars and graduated from LeMars High School. After her marriage she lived at rural Remsen. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county.
Mrs. Larson was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Survivors are her husband, Martin of rural Remsen; a son, Gary, at home; a daughter, Bonnie Larson of rural Remsen; a brother, Herbert Frahm of Willow Grove, Penn., and two sisters, Mrs. Fay (Lydia) Hamilton of Alton and Mrs. Donald (Emma) Schmidt, of LeMars.
