MARK L. JAMES
Mark L. James, 71, of Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, in Broken Arrow.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in LeMars, Iowa. The Rev. Leo E. Kostizen, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
Mr. James was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Sioux City, the son of Mark and Mildred James. He attended Central High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed as an electrician.
While living in Sioux City, he was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He also was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Barb and Rick Petersen of Broken Arrow; a son Mark Norman of California; a sister, Betty Anderson, of Sioux City; and two grandchildren.
