LIFE’S END
MRS. JOHN HULS, 60, DIES AT HOSPITAL
RITES SET MONDAY

Mrs. John Huls, 60, LeMars, died Thursday morning at Floyd Valley Hospital after an illness of one year. She has been hospitalized two weeks.

Mildred Maria Albers was born April 16, 1907, in Grant township near LeMars. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county and resided at 609 Grandview Addition.

Her marriage to John E. Huls took place Jan. 8, 1930, in Preston township. Her parents were the late Albert and Amelia (Baack) Albers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston Township. Rev. James Sandvik will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

A prayer service will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

Survivors are her husband, LeMars; two daughters, Mrs. Franklin (Mabel) Van Asselt, Parker, S.D., and Mrs. Dale (Gladys) Kolker, LeMars; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Viola) Bohms, LeMars and Mrs. Walter (Loetta) Nees, Conovia, Calif.; four brothers, Raymond and Wallace Albers, Sacramento, Calif.; Lester and Marvin Albers, Klammath Falls, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alfred; a sister, Leona Beam, and a grandchild.

Mrs. Huls was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston Township.
