GARNET D. JURGENSEN

Garnet D. Jurgensen, 56, of LeMars, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at the Hass Hillcrest Care Center in Hawarden.

Garnet Darlene Jurgensen was born Aug. 12, 1938, in Akron, the daughter of Clifford and Darlene (Butcher) Jurgensen. She lived with her parents and attended Pride One in LeMars and later made her home at Pride. She moved to the Hass Hillcrest Care Center after becoming ill with cancer.

Survivors include her parents, Clifford and Darlene Jurgensen of LeMars; two sisters, Dorothy Ragsdale and Connie Anderson, both of Cherokee; a brother, Gene Jurgensen of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary, and Beverly Cosgrove.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in LeMars with the Rev. Thomas Greaves officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
