LE MARS, Iowa --- Lucille Jordahl, 87, of Northfield, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Three Links Care Center in Northfield.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars with the Rev. Jean Morse officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens near LeMars. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will resume one hour prior to Tuesday’s services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jordahl was born July 13, 1913, in Moorhead, Iowa, the daughter of Julius and Gertie (Laursen) Johnson. She attended school in North Dakota at Canfield Township High School and Valley City Teachers College. She married Kenmar L. Jordahl in 1935. They made their home on various farms in Northwest Iowa. In 1951, they moved to Marcus, Iowa. They retired in 1980 and moved to LeMars. He died in January 1994.

She was a teacher, pianist and also taught piano lessons.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, JoAnn and Richard Kleber of Northfield; three grandchildren, Karen Kleber Diggs, Kay Dougherty and Rich Kleber; five great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Elna Jordahl; three stepbrothers, Randolph, Julius and Norman Jordahl; and 15 nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her step-father, S. L. Jordahl; two brothers and their wives, Orlo and Wilma Johnson, and Emil and Goody Johnson; and a stepbrother, Ben Jordahl.
