HERMAN JAHDE

LE MARS, Iowa --- Herman Jahde, 74, LeMars, died Aug. 12, at a LeMars hospital. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 15, at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. The Rev. Arnold Imbrock will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in LeMars under the direction of the Cooperative Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mr. Jahde was born July 8, 1899, at Hawarden. He married Frances Waterbury June 14, 1933, at Madison, S.D. They farmed near Hawarden, Hudson, S.D., Ireton and Sioux City until moving to LeMars in 1955.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Richard, of Maurice, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Sharon) Rokes of Washburn, Iowa; a brother, Fred, of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Kenowith of Ireton and Mrs. Elsie Jahde of Hawarden, and two grandchildren.
