KENMAR L. JORDAHL
Kenmar L. Jordahl, 84, of LeMars, died Monday, Jan. 24, 1994, at his daughter’s home in Northfield, Minn., after a short illness of cancer.
Mr. Jordahl was born Sept. 1, 1909, in Regan, N.D., the son of Steinar and Ruth (Knutson) Jordahl. He married Lucille Johnson in 1935. He farmed in the Marcus and LeMars area from 1941 until 1978. After retiring, he spent the winters in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Jo Ann Kleber and her husband, Richard, of Northfield, Minn.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Gudrun Johnson, of Tulsa, Okla; three brothers, Julius Jordahl of Broomfield, Colo., Randolph Jordahl, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Norman Jordahl of Albuquerque, N.M.; a stepbrother, Orlo Johnson, of Ticonic; and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a stepmother, Gertie (Johnson) Jordahl; a brother, Ben; a stepbrother, Emil Johnson, and an infant sister.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. David Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
