DELORES A. JAMES

SIOUX CITY, Iowa --- Delores A. James, 63, Sioux City, died Friday, June 10, 1994, at her residence.

Mrs. James, the former Delores Anne Erks, was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Pipestone, Minn., the daughter of Albert and Anna (Beck) Erks. She moved to the LeMars area as a child and graduated from LeMars High School. She marked Mark James Oct. 5, 1947, at Sioux City. She lived in the Sioux City area since her marriage.

Mrs. James was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and reading.

Survivors are her husband; a son and his wife, Mark N. and Kathy James of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara A. Kappler of Sioux City; two brothers, Dale Erks of Battle Lake, Minn., and Dennis Erks of Madison, Wis.; two grandchildren, Amanda Kappler and Michael James.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars, with Rev. George Zehnder officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time today at the funeral home.
