THEOPHILE (TAPE) HIRSCH

Theophil Karl (Tape) Hirsch, 75, who had lived in LeMars since 1930, died Friday (Dec. 18, 1977) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars after an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. William Striepe officiating.

Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mr. Hirsch was born Dec. 2, 1902, at Scotland, S.D., to Fred and Maria Vetter Hirsch. He came to LeMars in 1930 and had been an automobile salesman.

His marriage to Linda Voy took place Dec. 27, 1925, at Scotland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Linda in 1972 and by his daughter, Shirley, and a sister, Laura.

Mr. Hirsch was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.

Survivors are two granddaughters, Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Wendt, Omaha, and Mrs. Thomas (Patricia) Klutcharch, Chicago; there are four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chris Hirsch, LeMars, and Paul Hirsch, Waterloo, and a sister Elsie Kammerer, Beloit, Wis.
