MRS. TAPE HIRSCH
Mrs. Tape (Linda) Hirsch, 69, Lynne Apts., LeMars, died Saturday (May 20, 1972) at Floyd Valley Hospital after an illness of two months. She had been hospitalized two weeks.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. William Striepe officiating.
Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Pallbearers were Thomas Klutcharch, Charles Wendt, Harold Utesch, Richard Westergard, Donald Smid and Earl Hildebrandt.
The former Linda Voy, she was born March 4, 1903, at Kaylor, S.D., a daughter of the late Otto and Rose Voy. She married Tape Hirsch Dec. 27, 1925, at Scotland, S.D.
The couple moved to LeMars in 1930. Mrs. Hirsch was a saleslady at the Clara Owen dress shop for many years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Byers, a brother and three sisters.
Survivors are her husband; a brother Alvin of Torrance, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Peggy Moore, of Torrance, Calif.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Peggy Wendt of Omaha and Mrs. Thomas Klutcharch of Chicago and a great-granddaughter, Kelly Marie Klutcharch, of Chicago.
