BEN J. HILLRICHS

Ben J. Hillrichs, 65, an Akron farmer, died unexpectedly at his farm home early Tuesday.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Akron, with Rev. James Sandvik officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron.

A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hillrichs was born May 29, 1906, at Akron. He was a longtime farmer and served on the Westfield Township election board for more than 20 years. He was a former church council member.

He married Anna Tapper Jan. 18, 1933, at Akron.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Darwyn (Eunice) Klemme of Akron; a brother, Harry of LeMars; two sisters, Mrs. Mina Peters and Mrs. Andrew Andresen, both of Akron, and four grandchildren.
