Cleo M. Hickey, 79, of LeMars, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1988, at Sioux City St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in LeMars with Rev. Larry Fett officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. in Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hickey, the former Cleo Betsworth, was born Nov. 10, 1909, in LeMars, the daughter of Jerome and Josephine (Braun) Betsworth. She married Francis Hickey May 7, 1979, in LeMars. She was a homemaker and lifelong Plymouth County resident.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors are her husband; two brothers, Dwight of LeMars,, and Wayne of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Reynold (Shirley) Bruinsma of Sioux Center; and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Merle (Jeanette) Reekers of Sheldon, Mrs. Duane (Arlene) Lang of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. Ron (Pat) Raynor of South Sioux City; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
