MRS. ALBERT HERZIG

Mrs. Albert W. Herzig, 71, a resident of Plymouth Manor Care Center and formerly of 7th St. SW, died Saturday (Nov. 10, 1973) at the home after a long illness.

She had been a resident of the Center for several months.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Hanthorn officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, with the Mauer funeral home in charge of arrangements.

The former Ruby Mae McCorkell, she was born Nov. 15, 1901, at Akron, the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Ida (Keech) McCorkell.

Her marriage to Albert W. Herzig took place at Akron Feb. 14, 1922. He died Feb. 1, 1970.

Mrs. Herzig lived at Marcus, Akron and Merrill before moving to LeMars.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, LeMars.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Nathan (Norma) Frolkey, of Viola, Mo.; Mrs. Gordon (Shirley) Gerling of Covina, Calif., and Bonnie Herzig of Winner, S.D.; two sons, Marvin of Elsegundo, Calif., and Clifford of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Clair McCorkell of Akron and Leslie McCorkell of North Sioux City, S.D., 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
