MRS. HERMAN HEEREN

Mrs. Herman (Clara) Heeren, 60, LeMars, died Monday (Dec. 9, 1974) at St. Luke Hospital, Sioux City, after a long illness. She had been hospitalized for four weeks.

Clara Borchers, the daughter of August and Freda Martfeld Borchers was born June 26, 1914, in Preston Township. She was a lifelong Plymouth county resident.

Her marriage to Herman Heeren took place in Preston Township, rural Akron, on March 4, 1936.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. James Sandvik officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in LeMars. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Survivors are her husband Herman; a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Marlene) Winterfeld, Sioux Center; a sister, Mrs. Louis (Alice) Heeren, LeMars; four brothers, Fred and August of LeMars, Edwin of Akron and Raymond of Washington D.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Heeren was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
