EDWARD GRYZANOSKI
Edward Gryzanoski, 59, Maurice, a former LeMars resident, died Thursday (Feb. 13, 1975) at University hospitals, Iowa City, where he had been a surgical patient the last month.
Mr. Gryzanoski was critically injured when he slipped on ice and fell under his car Christmas Eve at his rural home near Maurice.
He was taken to Sioux City St. Joseph Mercy hospital and then transferred to Iowa City for spinal surgery.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday morning, Feb. 17, at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.Mr. Gryzanoski was born Sept. 3, 1915, at Grand Rapids, Mich.
He and his wife Grace moved to LeMars about five years ago from Artesia, Calif., where the couple had lived since their marriage April 18, 1963, at Las Vegas.
Mr. and Mrs. Gryzanoski had operated the E and G Café at Ireton the last year. He was a member of the LeMars Eagles club.
Surviving are his wife and five step-children.
