FRANCES J. DURR

MERRILL, Iowa --- Frances “Fran” J. Durr, 52, of Merrill, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital.

Private family services will be Tuesday. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in LeMars, Iowa. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday, with the family present after 7 p.m., at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Frances Durr was born on Aug. 26, 1946, in Sioux City, the daughter of Carl M. and Lorraine M. (Thoms) Durr.

Survivors include her son, Seth of Merrill; her mother, Lorraine Durr of Merrill; four sisters, Diane Anstine and her husband Wayne of LeMars, Jeanette Durr of Merrill, Marlene Clarey of Akron, and Delores Lancaster and her husband Barry of LeMars; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Donna Durr of Merrill; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her maternal grandparents, Homer and Emma Thoms.
