MRS. LESLIE BURNIGHT

Mrs. Leslie Burnight, 54, Westfield, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday (July 3, 1979) at a hospital in Akron after a long illness.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Berkemier funeral home. Rev. Jerry Oakland, of Riverside United Methodist Church will officiate. Silver Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, will conduct services. The body will be cremated.

Mrs. Leslie Burnight, the former Georgia Smith, was born July 3, 1925, at Linden, N.J.

She married Leslie Burnight April 24, 1950, at Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in California for a brief time before coming to Sioux City. They moved to rural Westfield in 1962. She had been employed at Security National bank at Sioux City.

She was a member of Vesper chapter 61, Order of Eastern Star at Akron and was co-founder of Riverside Assembly of Rainbow Girls in Sioux City.

Survivors are her husband and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Raba of Long Island, N.Y.
