JOHN BUSHEY, 65, DIES AT HOSPITAL

SIOUX RAPIDS – John L. Bushey, 65, of Cornell died at Spencer Municipal Hospital Sunday morning of a heart attack.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church at Sioux Rapids. Officiating will be Rev. O. M. Quary and Rev. Poore. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens at LeMars.

Mrs. Marvin May will be soloist and accompanist will be Walter Sim. Pallbearers will be Sherwin DuBois, Elmer Chestelson, Augusta Morazska, Gary Grote, Arthur Lundt, and Charles Anders. Honorary bearers will be Oren Geisinger, Morgan Doyle, Howard Veil, Arthur Klatt, Earl Larsen and Fred Lohoff.

Survivors besides his wife, Florence, are daughters, Mrs. Jack (Liona) Ebert of Council Bluffs, Frances Fairchild of LeMars and Mrs. Ray (Donna) Pullen of Marshalltown; brother Howard of Greenville; sister Mrs. Elmer DuBois of Dickens; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Bushey was a lifetime resident Clay County, retired farmer.

Henry Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

JOHN L. BUSHEY DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

John L. Bushey, co-owner of Resthaven Memory Gardens cemetery in LeMars and the father of Mrs. Don Fairchild, died unexpectedly Sunday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church at Sioux Rapids. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens here.
