INEZ ALBANO

Inez (Sexton) Albano, 76, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Sioux City, and LeMars, Iowa, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, in Tampa.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blount, Curry and Roel Carrollwood Chapel in Tampa. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Albano was born July 7, 1924, in LeMars. She attended school in LeMars and Sioux City. She graduated from East High School in Sioux City.

She married Manuel L. Albano of Tampa on June 3, 1945. The couple made their home in Tampa. She was employed in the purchasing office of Winn-Dixie stores for 28 years. She then was employed in the office of Physicians Laboratory, retiring in May 1999.

She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, where she served as an officer, and St. John's Lutheran Church in Tampa.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Lammers of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Anna Albano, of Tampa; seven nephews, Jason, Curtis, Karl, Keith and Steven Sexton and Joseph Daniel Albano; and two nieces, Linda John and Deby Bird.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Henry G. Sexton.
