Della I. Brouillette, 95, of Sioux City died Friday, May 2, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Mueller of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Della I. Brouillette was born April 18, 1908, in Akron, Iowa, one of 10 children of Michael and Bessie (Halverson) Conway. She attended Hawarden Public School in Hawarden, Iowa. She also took adult education courses in Sioux City. She moved to Sioux City in 1928.

She married Leonard J. Brouillette on June 23, 1928, in Sioux City. He passed away on Oct. 18, 1973, in Sioux City. She helped with her husband's business, Brouillette Auto Damage Appraisers, and was also a homemaker.

Della was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Girls of '68 and the Royal Neighbors of America. She was a volunteer at West Junior Library, where her daughter taught school. She enjoyed ceramics, cooking and shopping. She was an avid reader.

Survivors include a daughter, Ramona A. Johnson of Sioux City; a brother, Roland "Bud" Conway of Sioux City; a grandson, Dana Andersen and his wife, Patty of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Freeman Brouillette of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Arlene Brouillette of Sioux City; a special relative, Allan Johnson and his wife, Lynne of Stillwater, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Wiert Johnson.
