RUSSELL H. COLBURN

Russell Colburn, 74, Route 4, LeMars, died unexpectedly Monday at his home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ with Reverend James Ransom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, under direction of Luken-Johnson funeral home.

He was born June 9, 1895, at Sanborn a son of the late Charles and Hatti (Wilkens) Colburn. He married Emma Eggebraaten December 14, 1918, at Maynard, Minnesota. He was retired and has lived in LeMars since 1935.

He was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Maynard and a daughter, Betty.

Survivors are the widow, Emma, of LeMars; a son, Stanley, of the Beacon Falls, Connecticut; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Wilde of LeMars; a brother, Kenneth, of DesMoines; and five grandchildren. [Date of death: 22 Dec 1969]
