MRS. EMMA COLBURN

Mrs. Russell (Emma) Colburn, 75, rural LeMars, died unexpectedly Saturday (January 10, 1976) at Floyd Valley Hospital.

Emma S. Eggebraaten, the daughter of Claus and Christine Burns Eggebraaten was born September 20, 1900, at Maynard, Minnesota. She was a member of Presbyterian United Church of Christ in LeMars.

Her marriage to Russell Colburn took place December 14, 1918, at Maynard, Minnesota. He died December 22, 1969.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Presbyterian United Church of Christ with Reverend Ralph Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens with the Luken-Johnson funeral home in charge. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors are a sign, Stanley, Beacon Falls, Connecticut; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Wilde, LeMars; three brothers, Carl Eggebraaten, Osseo, Minn.; Roy of Granite Falls, Minn., and Clifford of Maynard, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Ben (Hilda) Suhl, Verndale, Minn.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a daughter and her husband.
