DARBI L. BUSS

LE MARS, Iowa – Darbi Lou Buss, 3-month-old daughter of Curt and Renae (Luschen) Buss of LeMars, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 19, 1996, at Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church ELCA in LeMars with the Rev. David Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, with the family present 2 to 5 p.m. to greet friends, and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Darbi was born March 1, 1996, in Sioux City. She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church April 14, 1996.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Brennan at home; paternal grandparents, Earl and Fay Buss of LeMars; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and John “Junior” Luschen of LeMars; aunts and uncles, Tom and Beth Buss and Doug and Marlene Buss, all of Emmetsburg, Wendy and Sid Niccum of Clarion and Keith and Mary Luschen of LeMars.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
