Mrs. Harry Baerg

Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Baerg, 60, lifelong LeMars resident, died unexpectedly Saturday (March 8, 1986) at her home after a long illness.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church, LeMars. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday with the family present from 7-8 p.m. in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Baerg, the former Lucille Martfeld, was born July 14, 1925, in LeMars to Fred and Ann Freiberg Martfeld. She married Harry Baerg June 4, 1950. He died in 1985.

She was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church.

Survivors are a son, Ricky, of LeMars; two brothers, Eddie and Walter, both of LeMars; and a sister, Mrs. Don (Judy) Beeck of LeMars. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
