Services Tuesday at First Baptist Church

Frances B. Hoefle, 81, of LeMars, died Saturday, June 17, 1995, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in LeMars.

Frances Bernice Nelson was born October 29, 1913, in Eagle Grove, the daughter of Harrison and Pearl (Moniger) Nelson. She married Charles “Wes” Hoefle in Princeton, Missouri, on January 24, 1936.

She was a 50 year member of the Vespter Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and past Worthy Matron.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Jerry” and Deborah Hoefle, Orlando, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharyn and Noel Ahmann of Remsen; six grandchildren, Christopher, Maria, Meg, Martin, Krista, and Joseph; three great grandchildren, Zac, Alec, and Brady; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Wendell Snow of Akron; a brother and sister in law, Orvin and Jeanette Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona; six nieces and nephews; and her family at Brentwood, Good Samaritan Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wes in 1983; and a sister, Melvina Cupiss.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Reverend Gordon Rhodes of officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday with the family present from seven to 8 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
