Claire Schneider

Funeral services for Claire Schneider, 75, were held this Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hinton United Methodist Church. Reverend Lee Webb officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Schneider died Tuesday at a Sioux City hospital after suffering a heart attack Saturday.

Mr. Schneider was born January 17, 1902, near Hinton. He married Dorothea Schindel, March 29, 1930. She died December 12, 1962, near Hinton. He married Marie Arndt, January 22, 1966, at Hinton.

He was a farmer and lived in the Hinton area all of his life. He retired in 1969. He was a member of the Hinton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Richard of Fargo, North Dakota; a daughter, Mrs. James (Charlotte) Overman of Omaha; two stepsons, Don and Gordon Arndt, both of Hinton, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bert (Shirley) Miller of New Lennox, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
