Henry J. Mulder

Henry J. Mulder, 94, of since center died Monday, June 4, 1979, at a hospital in Sioux Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Central Reformed church. Rev. Wesley Kiel will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Vander-Ploeg funeral home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Mulder was born November 9, 1884, in Alton. He married Anna Prins Oct. 5, 1911, in Sioux Center. She died March 16, 1936. He married Dirkie Mulder June 19, 1942, in Orange City. She died October 5, 1972.

Survivors are three sons James of Wainai, Hawaii, Elmer of Fort Dodge and Bernard of Smithtown, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Grace) Schouten of Sioux City and Mrs. Edmund (Ida) Storer of Sioux Center; four stepsons, John Sjaarda of Sioux Center, Clarence Sjaarda of Valley Springs, S.D., Donald Sjaarda of Marshall, Mich., and Marvin Sjaarda of Paullina; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gerald (Winifred) Reinders, of LeMars; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren, and 17 step great-grandchildren.
