Obituary:

Charles R. Clark.

Word has been received of the unexpected death of Charles R. Clark of Bellevue, Washington, on September 17, 1991. His sister, Margaret Schultz of Sanborn received the death message.

He was a former long time Le Mars resident, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark. He graduated from LeMars high school in 1939 and from the University of Iowa in 1946.

During World War II, he served in England as a pilot in the military, flying a P-47.

Prior to moving to the state of Washington, he lived in DesMoines.

Survivors are his wife, Norma; four children, Brian, Sarah and Elizabeth of Bellevue and Anne and husband, Hugh Cain of DesMoines. Also, his sister, Margaret and husband Hubert Schultz of Sanborn.
