Crouch, Mr. & Mrs. James Stuart (50th Wedding Anniv)

Mr. and Mrs. James S. Crouch were honored Sunday, May 15, at an Open House from 1 to 5 p.m. for their Golden wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Leroy Grosser. Hostesses were three of their daughters, Mrs. Grosser, Mrs. Ray Farrell and Mrs. Harry Novak, Jr.

Mrs. Farrell cut the beautiful three-tiered cake which was topped with a large wedding bell and two golden rings. It was made by Mrs. Novak. The guests were served by members of the family.

Mr. and Mrs. Crouch were married May 10, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa, by Rev. A. C. DeLapp and later lived in Rapid City, S.D. They came to Montana in 1942 and he was employed as a fireman for the B-17 Air Base stationed at the airport here during WWII.

Other children attending the reception were Bill Crouch and family of Havre, Robert Crouch and wife of Great Falls, and Joe Crouch of Cut Bank. Those unable to attend were John Crouch of Denver, Mrs. Doug Cummings (Shirley) of Kalispell, and Mrs. Robert Jacoby (Ida) of Havre.
