Shown in the picture by Naef’s are: Mr. and Mrs. Bert Utesch of 209-4th Ave. NW, LeMars, who will observe their Golden wedding anniversary on Sunday, January 12, with open house at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church parlors Johnson township. No invitations have been sent but all relatives and friends are invited. Anyone wishing to call at the home may do so after 7 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Utesch have lived in this vicinity all their lives and farmed until 1942 when they moved to LeMars. They are the parents of four sons and four daughters: Mrs. LeRoy Aldrich, Humboldt, So. Dak.; Mrs. Ray Jensen, Merrill; Mrs. Leonard Gerritts, LaGrange, Ill.; Mrs. Lewis Wilken, Jefferson, So. Dak.; Earl and Harold of LeMars; Fred of Chicago, Ill.; and Walter of Hawarden. They also have 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

60th Anniversary for Bert Uteschs Will Be Sunday

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Utesch, 209 Fourth Ave NW, LeMars will hold open house on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at their home.

The event will be hosted by their children, Fred, Sioux City; Earl, LeMars; Harold, Oyens; and Walter of Hawarden; Mrs. LeRoy Aldrich, Humboldt, S.D.; Mrs. Ray Jensen, Merrill; Mrs. Lewis Wilkens, Stewart, Fla.; and Mrs. Leonard Gerritts, Cincinnati.

The couple was married at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Johnson township.,

They request no gifts, please. No invitations have been sent and they invite their friends and relatives to call on Jan. 21.
