Pauline Mae Leu, 83, of Cedar Rapids [Iowa] died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, in Cedar Rapids. The body was cremated. A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. A committal service for Clifford Leu, Pauline Leu and Ruth Ruhl will be at Union Cemetery [Lockridge, Iowa]east of the Wallace Brokken farm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Camp Courageous, Box 418, Monticello, Iowa.

Mrs. Leu was born May 31, 1919, in Four Corners, the daughter of James and Staci Teeter Hickenbottom. She married Clifford O. Leu July 27, 1941. He died May 23, 1996. Mrs. Leu graduated from Lockridge High School with the class of 1936. She lived most of her life in the Cedar Rapids community. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion.

Survivors include two sons, Monty Leu and wife Patty of Ayrshire, Iowa and Thomas Leu and wife Rae Jean of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
