Buried at Taft Memorial Park, Taft, Texas Space 6, Lot 41.

“E. [G] L. Dickerman, 88, for the past 22 years a farmer in San Patricio County, died last night at his home in the Taft community.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. V[Z]ada Holmes of North Dakota; one brother Fred Dickerman of Ishkosh, Wis.; and a sister, Mrs. Belle Phillips of Janesville, Wis.

Desceased was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge and the Methodist Church. Services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the home to the Taft Methodist Church with the Rev. R. E. Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Taft Cemetery under the direction of David T. Peel.”

George Lyman Dickerman was born August 27, 1845 in Holyoke, Massachuttes to Samuel Linus and Clarissa W. (Hunter Dickerman, and departed this life on December 22, 1933 in Taft, Texas. He married Miss Gertrude Amanda Richards on January 6, 1873 in Silver Lake, Iowa. George and his brother, Frank Wellington Dickerman farmed together in Palo Alto County before moving to Texas.
