Mass of Christian Burial for John Patrick Egan was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Milford, Iowa on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in St. Margaret’s Cemetery at Spirit Lake, Iowa, Rev. James officiated.

Pallbearers were Terry Abbas, Dustin Abbas, Lyle Frank, David Stofferan, Dennis Wendell and David Wilson.

John Patrick Egan was born September 10, 1962 in Algona, Iowa the son of Raymond and Diana (Cecil) Egan. He was raised and educated in West Bend, Iowa.

John moved to Denver, Colorado and worked as a professional glass installer. He moved to Spirit Lake in 1991.

John was a member of the Catholic Faith.

John passed away at his home near Spirit Lake Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at forty-three years of age.

He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Diana Egan of Spirit Lake; sisters, Teresa Abbas and Lisa; brothers, Robert Egan, David Egan and Jeff Egan, daughter, Kelly Hahn; other family and many friends.

Turner Funeral Home of Spirit Lake handled the arrangements.
