John W. Beckett Dies

John W. Beckett died at a Sioux City hospital last Thursday morning. His body was brought to Sibley and buried here Saturday.

Mr. Beckett was born at Cassville, Wisconsin January 29, 1849. He was married at Earlville, Iowa, to Miss Anna Elizabeth Wright. He moved to Osceola County in 1882 where he resided until his death farming for a time and working at his trade of carpenter. He leaves a widow and three adult children.
