Jans Kor, age 65, of Clarinda, Iowa, formerly of Sibley, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Clarinda Regional Health Center in Clarinda, Iowa.

Jans Harold Kor was born on August 21, 1947 in Sibley, Iowa. He was the son of Hiko and Loretta (Walbran) Kor. He lived his youth in Sibley where he attended grade school and high school.

Jans enjoyed fishing at the sandpit by the park in Sibley, watching movies and going to car races with Gordon, Martha and Barbie Wasmund.
He moved to Clarinda, Iowa to the Mental Health Institute.

Jans passes away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Clarinda Regional Health Center in Clarinda, Iowa.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sister, Martha Wasmund of Sibley, IA, and her children, Barbie Wasmund of Sibley, IA and James Wasmund of Hospers, IA; one brother-in-law, Alfred Engelkes of Sibley, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Veronica, and one brother-in-law, Gordon Wasmund.
