Ed Moran

FAMILY THAT TOOK HIM IN WAS MORAN

My grandfather's name was Ed(Hansen?)Moran. He and another boy were adopted by a family named Moran. He was believed to have come from somewhere in Europe with a woman to the NYFH. And from there was sent to a farm in Iowa. After reading an article from Helen Ragen Shepard, I believe it may have been a farm in Wapsie. I also saw a note from a Jinx Engstrom about her grandfather Albert Ambrose Moran, which may have been the brother my grandfather was raised with? If you have any other information about him, that would be great. His daughter, Gladys (my mother) is still living, she is 94 and has been trying for years to find out some information about him? Where he came from? Who the woman was? etc.
