Hello Laura, At the present time the only HILL child that is listed here is ALPHA HILL who was raised by Geo. Henderson in DeWitt, Clinton Co., Iowa. Of course there were other HILL children but orphanages are reluctant to share names of the children who were in their care except to family members.
Which resources have you used to research these children ? There are so many sources to use. You could place a query at the Boone County Iowa Gen Web location & orphantrain@fbcom.net .
Many states also had orphanages that 'placed' children out from their facilities.
Have you contacted our National office in Springdale, Ark. where they list children that were 'placed out' all across America. Their web site is orphantrainriders.com & email is: othsa@msn.com
