may be someonecan help us ?
We need some information about a distant relative named Max Zimmermann, born 1860 in Mecklenburg Germany, who lived in Paullina, O'Brien County from about 1885 until 1940 or earlier.
His naturalization dated March 11th, 1890, issued by the District Court of Primghar.
We don't know the exact date of death but 1940 dated a letter from the german general consulate, and we found Max in the 1910,1920 and 1930 federal census. He worked in, or owned a general store in Paullina.
He lived at his half-brother Theodore Wiechner (or Weichner), his wife Dora, and daughter Vina, who later married a James T. Cousin.
Are there some church or cemetery records, may be at (West)Prairie View Cemetery
near Paullina about Max Zimmermann? Is his grave there on this cemetery?
Max were lutheran, as can be seen on the 1925 Iowa State Census.
He also was a member of the Independent Order of Odd fellows Lodge in Paullina
