PAULLINA, Iowa — Esther Feldotto, 80, of Paullina died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Wide View Rest Home in Paullina.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, with the Rev. Steven Hayden officiating.

Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m., at Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in Paullina.

Mrs. Feldotto was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Baker Township, O'Brien County Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Clara (Egdorf) Puhrmann. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended country school.

She married Harley 0. Feldotto on June 14, 1939, in Sutherland, Iowa. The couple resided in Paullina, where she was employed with the hot lunch program in the Paullina School System before her retirement.

He died Nov. 27, 1994, in Paullina.

She entered Wide View Rest Home in July 1996.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and crocheting.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Swain of Paullina; a son and his wife, Larry and Jan of Paullina; four grandchildren, David Swain, Wendy Rees, Corrie and Chad Feldotto; two sisters, Hazel Riedemann of Primghar, Iowa, and Grace Ewoldt of Spencer, Iowa; and a sister-in-law, Rosalyn Puhrmann of Litchfield, Minn.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gene Swain; a brother, Earl; and two sisters in infancy, Dorothy and Marlys.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Sparks, Craig Dittburner, Mark Rees, Elmer Feldotto, Burdette Riedemann and Kent Zalaznik.
