Services Held Here for Mrs. E. [Elsie] Koch

Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Koch, 80, of Paullina were held Tuesday morning, July 29, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Paullina. Mrs. Koch passed away Saturday at the Wide View Nursing, home in Paullina.

Rev. Donald L. Johnson officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Douglas Carlson, Dennis Carlson, Steve Carlson, Jeffrey Kuehl and Gary Kuehl. Mrs. Clarence Hibbing was organist and the congregation sang two hymns.

Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery near Paullina with the Gaudian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Koch, the former Elsie Langholz, was born August 22, 1894, in Paullina. She was married November 24, 1927, in Paullina. Mr. Koch died in 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mary Ann) Kuehl of Paullina, and Mrs. Marlin (Dorothy) Fischer of Calumet; a son, Donald of New Haven, Kentucky; a brother, William Langholz of Brewster, Minnesota; five sisters, Mrs. Alma Witt. of Pipestone, Minnesota, Mrs. Freida Kraft of Hancock, Minnesota, Mrs. Ann Hansen of Cherokee, Mrs. Bernadine Crist of Sacramento, California, and Mrs. Hilda Kramer of Berwin [Berwyn], Illinois; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
