Services in memory of Dolores Mae Snider were conducted Monday, December 23, 2002, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley, Iowa. Rev. Howard Campbell officiated. Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley. Warner Funeral Home of Hartley was in charge of arrangements.

Dolores Mae Snider, the daughter of Albert and Edith Dawson Adolph, was born January 3, 1923 in Hartley, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Hartley where she received her education, graduating from Hartley High School in 1940. She went to California in 1952 and worked at North American Air Craft until 1944.

Dolores married Arlo Snider on August 29, 1944 in Los Angeles, California. Following their marriage, they returned to live in Hartley in 1945, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley, the Dorcas Society, TTT, and enoyed golfing in her spare time.

Dolores passed away at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, December 20, 2002, at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Weldon.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Arlo of Hartley; two sons: Craig and his wife Konnie Snider of Osage, Iowa, and Kevin Snider of Hartley; four grandchildren: Kris, Anne, Joshua and Mallory; one great grandchild, Olivia; as well as other relatives and many friends.
