Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mrs. Flick

Mrs. Peter Flick, 79, Primghar, died at a Primghar Hospital Feb 28. Services were held at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Heffner officiation. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery at Paullina under direction.

Mrs. Flick, the former Mary Fjeld, was born in Norway, September 12, 1895. She came to the United States and Primghar as a small child, and attended school in Primghar. She was married September 1, 1923, at Primghar. They farmed for many years and then moved to Primghar where they ran a tavern. Mr. Flick died in 1972.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs Bert (Kathleen) DeRidder of Primghar; two sons, Martin and Peter, Jr., both of Primghar; two brothers, John and Oscar Fjeld, both of Primghar, and ten grandchildren.
