Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Hibbing, 76, of Paullina, were held Thursday morning, June 30, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Paullina. Rev. Donald Johnson officiated at the services.

Mrs. Hibbing passed away Monday, June 27 at Wide View Rest Home following a long illness. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery under the care of Gaudian Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hibbing, the former Margaret Kniese was born May 11, 1901 in Jackson County, Minnesota. She recived her education in rural Paullina schools and attended vacationa school in Sioux city in 1918. She was married February 16, 1921, at Paullina.

They farmed in the Paullina area approximately 50 years. Mr. Hibbing died in 1971 and Mrs. Hibbing became a resident of the rest home.

Survivors include a daughter, Gladys (Wilbur) Thoms, two sons, Clarence and Earl, and a brother, Herbert, all of Paullina; a sister, Mrs. Helen Stamer of Granville; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
